Nestled in the Swiss Alps, some 1400 metres above sea level, The Chedi Andermatt is a slice of Asian warmth in the midst of Swiss hospitality.

Despite its location in the remote village of Andermatt, The Chedi Andermatt managed to carve itself a niche clientele by offering the best of two worlds: Asian flair and Alpine chic. The 123 rooms are that perfect combination of chalet coziness and the Asian zen of dark wood interiors and leather furniture. The same is true for the restaurants, authentic wagyu beef born and bred not far from the hotel served at the Michelin-starred Japanese Restaurant and Swiss favorites served at The Restaurant.

A Lartisien client since January 2018, ultimate

This is one of the finest hotels I have stayed in. Everything is of quality and the rooms are spacious and equipped with every luxury. The food (especially the Asian part) is top quality. The Pad Thai is really delicious. The staff is very friendly and tidy. If this hotel was in another town (there is not much to do in Andermatt) and with a bit of humour, this would be one of the best hotels in the world.
