Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center

This residence embraces its urban essence, right at the top of the building. Jenny Holzer’s artwork "For Philadelphia" sets the tone in the reception area, while architects from Foster + Partners designed the space in harmony with its surroundings, mirroring the city’s original 1683 layout. Like walking down a street, circulation on each floor mimics an urban stroll, punctuated by entryways leading to the guest rooms. These rooms extend the sense of harmony, featuring curved lines and distinctive furnishings. Multidisciplinary artist Brian Eno created a visual and musical installation that lends a serene pulse to the guest room experience, and in keeping with this theme, the public areas blend raw materials with organic life, from the lobby to the Sky Garden. The spa reinforces the concept of a retreat, with walls embedded with over three hundred kilograms of healing crystals and a pool so expansive guests will feel like they are swimming above the city. Housed in a glass atrium beneath a mirrored canopy where the room and the horizon seem to merge, the Jean-Georges Vongerichten-helmed restaurant offers an entirely plant-based menu.
