Hotel Bel-Air

Like a private residence, this hotel sits on a lush, 12-hectare estate centred around a swan-filled lake. The low-slung, hacienda-style buildings feature tiled roofs and cool floors that invite you to go barefoot, as pink stucco accents rise high above. Common areas exude an Old Hollywood vibe, punctuated by portraits of regulars like Cary Grant, Marilyn Monroe, and Robert Redford. To preserve the residents' serenity, every key bears that same retro feel, in matching hues. With its clean oval shape, the pool has remained unchanged since the 1940s and is now part of local legend. Guests move between spaces along terracotta-paved paths sheltered by arcades draped in vines and exotic plants. With its separate alcoves and a terrace shaded by bougainvillea and fig trees, the restaurant showcases local flavours through timeless classics like Caesar salad and sea bass "à la Niçoise".
