Marbella Club
From the Marbella Club, La Concha fades behind a sailboat making for the Mediterranean. At times, the African coast appears on the horizon; the outing unfolds simply, between swimming, diving and lunch on board. Back on land, El Patio is tucked among agapanthus, jasmine and bougainvillea. Dishes are cooked over a wood fire, while citrus from the garden goes into the cordials. At La Bodega, wine comes with a very hands-on approach to soil: vine roots, biodynamic tools and samples take their place on the table before service. Come evening, Rudi's stretches the day out with tapas, flamenco and a fireplace studded with shells. Outside, the kitchen garden starts behind the terrace, running all the way to the suites and villas, once holiday homes of Spanish royalty, that pair pale tones with abundant light.
