The Peninsula Istanbul

The Peninsula Istanbul

On the roof of The Peninsula Istanbul, at Galataport, herbs, vines and berry bushes thrive, with Galata Tower directly opposite. The chefs head up there to forage for ingredients that are immediately brought back down to the kitchen, and a dining area is set up amongst the rows, facing the cargo ships sailing up the Bosphorus. At GALLADA, Fatih Tutak has crafted a menu inspired by the Silk Road, ranging from Adana kebab dumplings to warm Medjool date cake. Outside, the streets of Beyoğlu and Karaköy are lined with former theatres and trading houses that have since been transformed into art spaces.
