The Merrion

Dublin, Ireland

The Merrion

Opposite the Government Buildings, The Merrion comprises four Georgian houses in Dublin, restored as a single property. The Cellar Bar occupies the 18th-century wine cellars of the main house. In the Drawing Rooms, a cosy fire burns beneath the paintings from the hotel’s collection of Irish art, and the Art Afternoon Tea transforms them into sweet treats, one colour, one setting, one motif at a time. Patrick Guilbaud has set up his Restaurant within these walls, the first in Ireland to be awarded two stars, whilst the Garden Terrace continues the Irish culinary tradition during the warmer months.
