Sydney hotels collection

Part of Sydney goes to the office by ferry in the morning, across a harbour so indented that the city seems made of shorelines. Yellow sandstone surfaces everywhere, and The Rocks quarter owes it its name; in Paddington, the terraced houses wear cast-iron lace on their balconies. On Bennelong Point, the sails of the Opera House are clad in Swedish tiles, some glossy, some matt, laid in chevrons, and the roof changes tone with the sky. At the foot of the cliffs, at Bronte or Coogee, pools cut into the rock take in the sea, and one swims lengths facing the open ocean.
