Ornos hotels collection

Beneath Mykonos, the ancients said, lie the Giants defeated by Heracles, and the rounded granite boulders that break through the hillsides lend the story a certain credibility. Ornos sits on a low isthmus between two bays that have nothing in common: its own, sheltered from the meltemi, keeps the fishermen's caiques; Korfos, on the other side, takes the wind full on, over shallow water it roughens into short waves. Further on, the beach of Agios Ioannis takes its name from a limewashed chapel that faces Delos.
