Peloponnese hotels collection

The Peloponnese is tied to the mainland by no more than a handful of bridges, and one remembers them only when crossing. Nafplio lines up its Venetian balconies beneath the fortress; Epidaurus sets its theatre against a pine-covered slope; Mystras sleeps in ruins on its hill, and Monemvasia hides entirely behind its rock. Further south, the stone towers of the Mani rise above a shoreless sea, among olive trees and cypresses. The country is made of limestone, thyme and silence, and its roads take detours one does not regret.
