Paris, in Motion

Muse, emblem, sometimes a place to call home, Paris is a city you never quite stop making your own. From the cobbled streets of Saint-Germain to the heights of Belleville, cultures and influences meet at every turn, bringing traces of elsewhere to Haussmann façades and zinc rooftops. It was here, in the nineteenth century, that the flâneur found his natural habitat: wandering the city with nowhere in particular to go, watching the streets, the people and the life around him. The French have been perfecting the art ever since.

Here, strawberries and cream on a terrace in the sunshine. There, the pale stone façades of Île Saint-Louis, with their old Parisian grandeur.
Anamaria, Venus, at the tip of the Île de la Cité. The Louvre rises behind her, while the leaves of a weeping willow stir in the breeze.
