Capella Singapore

Reaching Sentosa Island via the cable car from Mount Faber offers a sweeping view of the surrounding area at a single glance. While this historic residence dates back to the late 19th century, its recent exteriors were designed by the architectural firm Foster + Partners. Set amidst twelve hectares of lush vegetation and free-roaming peacocks, the 113 rooms and suites create a secluded haven where a tropical feel and Asian minimalism define the guest journey. Soft hues paired with fine woods, exquisite linens and silks, and Asian antiques create the perfect counterpoint to the surrounding verdant lushness. Slightly removed from the main residence, two singular mansions offer a discreet retreat, while two restaurants reflect the history of a metropolis that once stood at the crossroads of historic voyages. One is fluent in Italian, while the other serves authentic Cantonese cuisine.
