The journey to this residence is an experience in itself, thanks to the walk across a suspension bridge high above the swaying canopy. As the building comes into view, its exterior design echoes the offering bowls found in Balinese temples. The 60 guest units embrace a nature-based aesthetic, positioned amongst the trees, lotus ponds, and cascading rice terraces visible in the distance. This symbiotic harmony continues inside, with wooden furniture, hand-woven traditional ikat fabrics, lacquered floors, and antiques that reflect the archipelago's rich heritage. The Ayung Terrace restaurant echoes this theme with dishes like whole duck, slow-cooked in a clay pot and infused with spices, and coconut-smoked grilled octopus. In the spa, meanwhile, chakras open to the rhythm of treatments inspired by spiritual ceremonies.
