Gstaad Palace

The Scherz family has been at the helm of the Gstaad Palace, overlooking the Bernese Alps, for three generations. They combine a sense of history – the décor of their nightclub, the GreenGo, has remained unchanged since the 1970s – with contemporary approaches to holistic wellness and a touch of whimsy. Indeed, for many years, the former chef to the Thai royal family oversaw a menu covering the transalpine repertoire, honouring Swiss traditions with a masterful fondue, and, of course, delivered haute cuisine creations. The rooms and suites embody the same art of cultural exchange, where Swiss mountain heritage meets a distinctly British appreciation for fine materials, from thick, cosy curtains to floral patterns. A wealth of activities is on offer to help you tailor your stay exactly to your own pace and preferences.
