Lucknam Park Emblems Collection

It takes a long drive to reach Lucknam Park and leave Bath behind, before finally catching sight of the house. Restored over thirty years by the Laskaridis family, the estate retains its aristocratic air: white sash windows, romantic turrets, Virginia creeper greening the stone walls. At the Walled Garden Restaurant, the enclosed garden supplies the produce served at table or slipped into a picnic basket. In the evening, at the estate's other restaurant, Hywel Jones, one delights in plates with assured British flavours. After a visit to the stables, hydrotherapy pools and saunas tend to body and soul. The next day, at dawn, one heads out with the falconer; later, the Wiltshire woods can be explored on horseback, by bicycle, or on a guided walk.
