Its distinctive silhouette rises above the skyline, as two asymmetrical towers are joined by a 230-metre skybridge. Below them, a landscaped podium forms a shared base, while inside, desert-inspired colours meet rich materials and soft textiles. The lighting shifts throughout the day, from the muted brightness of morning to the evening glow of crystal chandeliers. Art is woven throughout the property, from Steven Naifeh’s sculpture in the entrance to works by Dana Awartani. The rooms and suites look either towards the city or the park, as neutral tones and tactile materials set the mood, with silk-clad walls, thick rugs underfoot and warm oak finishes. Two pools offer different perspectives: one opens onto the city, the other disappears into the greenery. The spa takes a holistic approach, with treatments tailored to the individual. Across the restaurants, the menus travel widely, from Nobu’s Nikkei cuisine and Arruzuna’s Levantine flavours to the Indonesian cooking of Andaliman and the French pastries of Maison Devoille.
