Set within twenty-six hectares of gardens and bordering the sea, the resort has the air of an oasis. A world away from the towers rising around it, it feels distinctly residential, with a strong Moorish-Andalusian influence. The interiors echo its stately character, with rich materials, collected objects and distinctive furnishings. Moroccan lanterns cast their glow above seating inset with colourful azulejos. Three distinct settings give the stay its own rhythm: a lively seaside atmosphere, more intimate spaces rooted in local traditions, and a secluded retreat with just fifty-five keys. Each has its own character, allowing the mood to shift from one stay to the next. Three pools follow their own rhythm too, from quiet corners to livelier waters. Over two floors, the spa brings together traditional treatments and a contemporary holistic approach. At the restaurants, the flavours travel from the Levant to Asia. Viva La Goa opens onto the sea, with light plates and cocktails served on its terrace. From here, the many sides of the stay come together in one sweeping view.
