The Connaught

At Carlos Place, a corridor clad in rosewood leads to Hélène Darroze’s dining room, serving up Denbighshire pigeon, Scottish porcini mushrooms and Cornish turbot caught by the Ajax. Pierre Yovanovitch has designed it in velvet, leather and dark oak, with bowls turned by Ema Pradere beneath a cobalt-blue fresco. In the Armagnac Room, magnums from the Darroze family are rolled right up to the table, while elsewhere, guests can create a bouquet with florist Moyses Stevens. Finally, for a nightcap in the Connaught Bar, call over the martini trolley, and have your drink assembled right in front of you.
