The Peninsula London

The Peninsula London

The Peninsula London is a hotel to be experienced through the senses. Peter Marino commissioned British workshops to craft the mahogany in the walk-in wardrobes, the honey-coloured onyx in the bathrooms and the ironwork, right down to the Valet Box recessed into the walls of the bedrooms. Claude Bosi heads up Brooklands, and its summer terrace, Soleil, opens onto the roof for just a few weeks a year, overlooking Hyde Park. On arrival, guests are presented with a mooncake filled with egg custard, a tradition inherited from The Peninsula Hong Kong, which has been serving them since 1986.
