Krabi hotels collection

Two limestone outcrops face each other across the Krabi river at the edge of town; longtail boats pass between them on their way into the mangroves. The same limestone shuts the Railay peninsula off behind ochre cliffs hung with stalactites: no road leads there. At Laem Pho, at low tide, the rock changes nature: slabs of snail shells fused together, the remains of an ancient freshwater marsh where the sea now breaks.
