Lartisien Adds Three New Luxury Hotels to its Switzerland Collection!

Looking for more hotel inspiration? Look no further with our three brand-new hotels added to our ever-growing collection in Switzerland!

Kulm Hotel, St. Moritz

Discover the exquisite Kulm Hotel! For years, St. Moritz’s Badrutt’s Palace Hotel has been an iconic hotel in the alpine resort town. First opened in 1896 by Caspar Badrutt, the hotel has always been a gateway to the romantic era of the “Grand European Tour”. What most travellers don’t know is, Caspar’s father, Johannes Badrutt opened St. Moritz’s first hotel many years earlier. He essentially founded winter tourism in the Engadin Valley!

Only 15 minutes from lake St.Moritz, close to many of the location’s impressive ski areas! The hotel is a time capsule of 19th-century Swiss hospitality. The 172 rooms and suites all sport a traditional chalet design with wooden beams, comfortable furniture and a hint of colour to anchor it in more modern times.

Kulm Hotel also features 7 restaurants and bars. Experience the signature K by Mauro Colagreco, Bob-Restaurant, and the Sunny Bar by Claudia (open only in Winter). The hotel offers services within the 2000-square-meter Spa St. Moritz, with 11 treatment rooms and fantastic views over the Lake.

Kulm Hotel, St. Moritz

Address: Via Veglia, 18, St. Moritz, Switzerland

Opening period: Summer only (June 16, 2022)

Grand Hotel Kronenhof

The Grand Hotel Kronenhof in Pontresina is a few miles from St. Moritz. You step right back in time the moment you walk through the door! The hotel has a Neo-Baroque style and an iconic horseshoe-shaped façade. The interior has been beautifully renovated by architect and interior designer, Pierre-Yves Rochon.

The hotel features 113 rooms and suites! They boast a similar Neo-Baroque style, uplifted with contemporary furniture and color palette. The accommodation still conforms to a warm and cozy mountain chalet atmosphere. See large windows for guests to relish the beautiful sights of Pontresina.

On the culinary front, the Grand Hotel Kronenhof hosts one of the best fine dining options in the locality. The Grand Restaurant, Le Pavillon, and the Kronenstübli, all feature unique interior décors. Each range from grandiose to traditional mountain cabin and offer a varied menu of Swiss and international recipes. Meanwhile, the Bar, Lobby & Smokers’ Lounge welcomes guests to a stunning Baroque interior of frescoed ceilings and velvety sofas, ideal for a winter evening. The Grand Hotel Kronenhof completes its offering with a 2000-meter-square spa, with a pool area that offers unbeatable sights of the surrounding mountain and forest.

Bürgenstock Hotel & Alpine Spa

Our next location is perched high above Lake Lucerne, from atop the Bürgenberg mountain ridge. The Bürgenstock Hotel is one of the four hotels that make up the revamped Bürgenstock Resort.

Its 102 contemporary rooms all offer some of the most panoramic views of the lake and mountain. Their overall design language of the hotel ditches the resort’s original Belle Époque flair in favor of a more modern and minimalist approach. It contrasts with the location, but you still feel right at home. Picture a palette of white, black, and grey highlighted with dark polished wood, stone, and leather.

Meanwhile, the Bürgenstock Hotel & Alpine Spa benefits from the resort’s extensive dining and drinking list , with no less than 7 restaurants and 1 bar. This includes the Asian-theme Spices Kitchen & Terrace, the Persian-theme Parisa, and the traditional mountain Taverne 1879. The Lakeview Bar & Cigar Lounge offers the most impressive location view from the floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows.

Additionally, hotel guests have access to the 10,000-square-meter Alpine Spa with 5 pools, saunas and relaxation rooms. Enjoy many collaborations with some of the world’s leading brands such as Dr. Barbara Sturm, Biologique Recherche, KOS Paris, and 111 Skin.
