Four Seasons Hotel George V
With its emblematic Art Deco style in the large windows and bas-reliefs, this hotel in the heart of the Golden Triangle of fashion and art galleries hosted the Beatles for two months in January and February 1964, during their stay in Paris. Combining the geometric lines characteristic of its architectural identity with a French classicism revitalised by a renovation led by Pierre-Yves Rochon, the hotel has a guest list that still reads like a Who’s Who today. Guests come for unrivalled haute cuisine, with three Michelin-starred restaurants under one roof (unique in Europe), including Le Cinq, helmed by Christian Le Squer, and a spa offering signature treatments. The rooms, in soft hues that play on the codes of the grand Empire style, offer a view of a capital city revealed in a new light. The George V exudes a certain epicurean philosophy through discreet touches that are at once refined and singular.
