Four Seasons Resort Megeve

In the early 20th century, Noémie de Rothschild had the dream of creating the epitome of a mountain residence, putting Megève on the map as one of the most desirable of Alpine destinations. During restoration, Pierre-Yves Rochon preserved the intimate charm of what was once a family home. Works of art, and subtle details like oil paintings and wooden beams, serve as a reminder of its raison d’être: to welcome and celebrate its guests. A meticulous approach to contemporary comfort carries this forward, with fine furs and leathers creating a cosy atmosphere. And whilst the culinary offering includes Japanese-inspired dishes and traditional brasserie fare, it would be a shame not to sample the signature fondue, prepared to perfection. And there’s no need to wait for the first snowflakes: in summer, a high-altitude golf course appeals to even the most discerning of players.
