Hotel La Palma
Hotel La Palma has witnessed Capri’s rise to become the epicentre for seekers of rare holiday destinations. The first hotel built on the island in 1822, La Palma was renovated in 2023. Interior designer Francis Sultana has preserved the island’s very essence, steeped in the scents of the sea and citrus. Clean lines allow light to take centre stage, whilst thoughtful collaborations with local artisans honour the island’s rich history, from antiquity to the early days of its most glamorous era. The hotel prioritises privacy and has reduced the number of rooms from 80 to 50 to better showcase its location, nestled between the Gardens of Augustus and the Faraglioni rock formations, in complete tranquillity. The picture-perfect swimming pool offers a refreshing retreat and a balanced, light and refined menu. In shades of sea blue and turquoise, the rooms and suites feature marble and bronze, rattan and plush seating, creating cosy retreats with sea views. In the same spirit, the imaginative cuisine and respect for local roots of the Casa Tua restaurant will make you feel – almost – as if you were at home.
