Sterrekopje Healing Farm

Life here revolves around a fifty-hectare farm, with seven hectares devoted to orchards and kitchen gardens. Chickens, ducks and donkeys roam among the fruit trees and vegetable beds, giving the place an easy, unhurried rhythm. The eleven suites are all different, yet share the same sense of character. Indian chests, Berber rugs, ceramics and richly textured fabrics bring them together, while murals by local artists Tess Metcalf and JP Meyer cover the walls with scenes of wildlife and Maharaji-inspired patterns. Wellbeing is woven into the stay, drawing on traditional practices and therapies. A yurt is given over to yoga; a secluded cabin hosts chakra-balancing sessions, whether one-to-one or in small groups. Massage, breathwork and bathing rituals all have their place, with the emphasis firmly on both body and mind. The kitchen follows the same philosophy. Meals are served around a communal table, with dishes inspired by the surrounding countryside and a largely plant-based menu shaped by what is grown on the farm.
