Sitting just outside Florence, in a centuries-old park overlooking the Boboli Gardens, the Villa Cora is a 19th-century mansion that’s as aristocratic as it gets. Maybe it’s the old-world opulence of its rooms and common areas, decorated (in some cases, exag...
The experience at Villa Cora was nice, interior design was impressive and remarkable; staff was friendly, room was clean, shuttle for travelling between the city centre was thoughtful and helpful, cocktails at the bar were creative and interesting. Just a few comments for consideration for improvement: 1. would be more convenient if there could be hot water boiler in the room (save us from having to order room service for hot water) as we do drink hot / warm water very often 2. wifi at the second bedroom was very weak 3. would be nicer to have shower curtain at the bath tub for the main room bathroom to avoid water splashing onto the floor (like the second bathroom)
Villa Cora is a stunning hotel. The grounds are immaculate, and the pool is beautiful. The staff was courteous and exceptionally attentive. The concierge team helped with our every need and planned a wonderful day trip for us. We had breakfast in the hotel every morning in a gorgeous setting, with welcoming wait staff and delicious food. The shuttle into Florence is very helpful. We wish that the service continued through the afternoon and a little later into the evening to accommodate for lunch and dinner in town. Taxis were easy to call from various hotel doormen, but the shuttle would have been appreciated after a late dinner. We would absolutely stay at Villa Cora again and look forward to doing so the next time we are in Italy.
We enjoyed our brief stay. The pool was fantastic! The food was good, but pretty pricey. The rooms are VERY small. We would absolutely stay again, just be aware.
We absolutely loved to be at this wonderful Hotel Villa. Seems to be at home. Excellent service, exquisite views, great food. You made my 1st years old birthday son so special!!! Grazie mille.
