Set in a former fifteenth-century Franciscan monastery, Villa San Michele reveals a façade attributed to Michelangelo, cloisters and terraced gardens where the hill air stays fresh. The interiors, dotted with frescoes, Tuscan marbles, tapestries and antique furniture, open airily onto the garden. Under the Antesi loggia, seasonal Tuscan cooking is savoured with the Duomo in the distance. In the old convent, the Guerlain spa revisits Florentine beauty traditions from the Renaissance through treatments, breathwork and sound baths. You can also blend essences with The Art of Making, then walk toward Monte Ceceri, in Leonardo da Vinci's footsteps, before heading back to the pool.
