Como Lake hotels collection

The road along Lake Como spends a good part of its time inside the mountain; the boat, for its part, stays outside. It is from the water that the shores make sense, so steep that gardens grow in terraces and villas reach the lake by a staircase rather than a drive. Bellagio holds the point where the lake divides into two arms. Varenna, opposite, hides its stepped lanes behind the wisteria. The summits stay white into spring, and Como, at the southern end, still weaves its silk.
