For Abdulla Al Suwaidi, pearls are his calling, but more than that, they are a way to teach the world how to do things right. As one of the last natural pearl divers in the world – a practice he inherited from his grandfather- Abdulla is fighting to preserve the legacy of his family and of the whole of the UAE in the form of his company, Suwaidi Pearls. When Lartisien met with Abdulla, it is was clear that he was the kind of unique experience that we wanted our clients to have, one that is personal but also gives a closer look at the culture of the destination.

Nothing says luxury as pearls do, and in this exclusive immersion, Lartisien wanted to bring you behind the scenes of how “luxury” is made! Accompanied by Abdulla, you will have the opportunity to visit the Al Rams Marina where the pearls are cultured and learn about their millennium-old history, and even board a Pearl Diver boat to observe the collection of oysters. The immersion will end with a tour of the Arabian Pearls Traditional Traders box “BISH-TAKH-TAH” to see the various lustrous collections of the Pearls and the Traders tools and treasures.
