That’s where Professor Jerry White comes in. A scholar on the history of the city and its people, with a trilogy of books that document life in London between 1700 and 2000. Meeting with him, we fell in love with his absolute fascination with the little detail of how people used to live in the centuries gone by, and how as a population, the inhabitants of the English capital have embraced the 21st century.
The historic districts of London
Any tour can bring you to St James’s, Piccadilly, Covent Garden and so on... but with this Lartisien exclusive immersion, Professor Jerry White will hold your hand and help you cross over into 18th century London. Starting the tour from the dazzling member-only Reform Club, you will be able to pick any one of London’s historic districts and embark on a private tour of it. You will travel through time and learn about the people that populated these places at the times and have triggered London’s metamorphosis into the global metropolis that it is today.
