Curator & artist
Carlota Perez is an art curator with an extensive career spanning across Madrid and Paris. After graduating in Art History from Sorbonne, Carlota began her career which includes popular houses such as Sanssouci Magazine, where she collaborated with the likes of Philippe Parrena and Douglas Gordon. After moving to Mexico City, she took up the position of Studio Manager for artist Mario Garcia Torres. Carlota’s extensive career in the art industry has allowed her to become an unbeatable figure in bridging the gap between artists and art collectors and appreciators.
Encounter with Artist Carlota Pérez-Jofre
This exclusive Immersion gives guests the opportunity to delve deeper into the rich art scene of Mexico. The immersion is available in two options: Tour 3 galleries in the company of Carlota to obtain some of the best insight into the artists’ and their creations, before stopping for refreshment at either Panaderia Rosetta or Lardo Café. Or 2) accompany Carlota on a tour of the city to discover the sublime archictectures and museums. Included a visit of Luis Barragan’s highlights (2 houses) and 1 iconic museum (either the Jumex or the Anthropologic).
