Sporting a vintage leather jacket and pulling up on her motorcycle, singer/songwriter Julia Haltigan seem to come straight from the era of 70’s Rock n’ Roll. The fiery performer can be seen in the East Village every night, entertaining a full house, or out touring around the US and UK with the likes of Norah Jones, Judy Collins, or her very own band, The Singles, with Holly Miranda, Kendra Morris, and Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson. An accomplished composer, Julia also worked on various musicals and movie soundtracks.
Lower East Side with singer-songwriter
This exclusive Immersion gives you the opportunity to tour the Lower East Side in the company of someone who lives & breathes the NYC. This is where Julia grew up, and that’s where she developed her passion for music. The tour will begin at Essex Street Market, before heading to TR Crandall guitar shop to meet the owner and learn about the history of the local musical scene. The tour will cover a number of popular music venues before stopping at the famous Katz’s delicatessen. The tour ends at the Rockwood Music Hall with a private performance by Julia.
