“A lot of what we learned in France and Italy, with a touch of Branko’s Central European culture, is what we are trying to adapt here in our own context”... “Organic viticulture and natural winemaking has been practiced there forever.”
As Mexican wine is becoming more and more popular and in demand across the world, and especially in Guanajuato, Consultant oenologist Natalia Lopez is at the forefront of this new wave. She began with her husband making wine in Mexico in 2012, and today produce their own unfiltered blends under the Cava Garambullo label. The city lies the country’s fourth-largest and fastest-growing wine-producing state—not to mention one of its youngest, with 30 wineries and modern viticulture practices dating back to the early 2000s.
For this 3-hour Lartisien immersion, guests can choose exactly which area of oenology they want to focus on, and Natalia will conduct her masterclass based on their interests. This includes senses and perception, wine pairing, or even just discovering wines from specific regions. The tasting includes samples from three wines, barrel tasting, accompanied by appetizers. Within the private wine cellar, learn everything about wine, including senses and perception, wine pairing, organic viticulture, and natural wines, and of course, the Guanajuato Region.
