Organ playing a dying art nowadays, and to find someone as fascinated as Peter means you will be able to enjoy a fun and dynamic tour of Vienna’s churches and to see some of the most impressive instruments ever crafted. We fell in love with Peter’s dedication to his art, and he is impatient to be able to share with you his love for this obscure and underrated instrument, and to show how versatile and beautiful it is.
In this unique immersion proposed by Lartisien, we welcome you to experience a dying art in all its beauty: organ playing. Joined by Peter Frisée, a professional organist and clavierist, tour through Vienna’s most beautiful baroque church (1623-1703) and visit of hidden places like upper galleries, crypt, hidden halls. At the Organ Loft, Peter will present to you the instrument and tell you about its history and role in the Viennese musical scene. At the end of the tour, Peter will treat you to a short organ recital.
