La Réserve Paris Hôtel & Spa

On Avenue Gabriel, La Réserve Paris occupies a private mansion built in 1854 for the family of the Duke of Morny, who lent his name to the library. The original façades and the staircase remain; during restoration the staircase was dismantled and reassembled piece by piece. The hotel has done away with the reception desk, and instead a maître d’hôtel welcomes guests to the 40 rooms, while Jérôme Banctel oversees the kitchens at Le Gabriel. The names of the dining rooms are inspired by the Médoc wines of Michel Reybier, owner of Cos d’Estournel; Le Gaspard takes its name from Louis-Gaspard d’Estournel, whilst La Pagode de Cos is named after the estate’s second wine.
