For over 140 years, Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok has been welcoming travelers to the banks of the Chao Phraya River for a quintessential Bangkok experience. In 2019, the hotel’s River Wing rooms, restaurants and pool were renovated, marking a new chapter in its story.

One of the best city hotels in the world! A legend in its own right. Definitely the best staff in the world!

Very nice decor and wonderful staff. The room was lovely but felt a little small due to the loft and stairs. I missed a desk and possibly a bath tub which is more or less standard at 5 star propertied in BKK. A bit noisy outside the door when people came and left. Not so sound proof door I guess. Overall great, just giving some small pointers when you expect 100 % perfection from such an iconic place and pricepoint when the competition is fierce.

We have been at the Mandarin Oriental for many years and it’s our second home. We think it’s the best hotel of the world and we feel the personnel is our “ family”.
