Taking its design cues from the surrounding lakes and mountains, the Park Hotel Vitznau isn’t your ordinary Swiss hotel. It’s a stay in a 100-year-old castle studded with turrets, gardens and balconies, and those fairytale views of Lake Lucerne every time you look out don’t hurt either...

Despite its stately facade that oozes old-world charm, the Park Hotel Vitznau is surprisingly sleek and modern once you step inside. There are just 47 rooms here, and behind each door, a bold vision comes to life with the “galleries” of the hotel- think spa...

As usual, service, food, hotel and spa infrastructure are all at the highest. Thanks to you at Lartisien and to the team in Vitznau for making it a perfect stay.

Best hotel in Switzerland. Best team and wonderful location.

Beautiful property in spectacular setting! Staff, for the most part, was friendly and helpful. Spa is beautiful. Not much to do in the winter and it is fairly isolated. The only drawback is that the food quality did not match the setting. We did not go to any of the Michelin starred restaurants but food was mediocre and very expensive.

We couldn’t have been more pleased. From stepping into our departure we were treated with care and a feeling of indulgence.
