I have the feeling that I've always wanted to play the piano, and it was quite obvious, and there was no question about it.
Sélim Mazari started his musical journey when he was only 5 years old, in the suburbs of Paris. Since then, he knew he wanted nothing else than to be a pianist. When Lartisien met with him at the Bösendorfer, he was seated at the grand piano, in a passionate rendition of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. We knew right away that our clients were in for something special. Sélim followed his mentor to Vienna to perfect himself, and today, he follows in the footsteps of Mozart and Mahler, already being hailed as one of the finest soloists of his generation.
Lartisien wanted you to discover the musical city of Vienna from someone in the know, and Sélim proved to be the perfect individual to walk you through the city that hosted so many of the greatest. The tour will begin at the Wien Museum Beethoven Pasqualatihaus, before heading to the Wien Museum Mozart apartment and finally to the Vienna St. Peter's Church. The tour will end in the private salon of the Austrian piano brand Bösendorfer Vienna where Sélim will delight you with a twenty-minute recital of works inspired by the tour you have just taken.
